Nelson Atkins, Kansas City, Missouri

June 24th, 2019

If your ever in Kc one the places you have to check out is the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, it’s very cultural and diverse it’s a great experience looking at different history you may not have known. And plus, you don’t have to pay to tour the Museum!! This is the back of the Nelson Atkin’s Museum; the sun was going down and I wanted to take a picture of course. I love how the bricks planted in the concrete. It's a lot of space and viewing in the back to take pictures. Which I liked because I wanted a solid background. If you notice the big shuttlecock, I'm standing in front of then peak-a-boo!!! The shuttlecocks are very popular thru out the whole perimeter. And have been around since 1944, founded by the late Claes Oldenburg and his wife Coosje Van Bruggen. I don't know not one citizen in Kc that has not taken a picture in front of the Shuttlecock you can't help but take a picture by it or of it.
